I was born and raised in Mumbai, India, where I began my journey as an electronics engineer. Over the past decade, my career in technology has spanned multiple domains, eventually bringing me to Singapore. I’ve been living here for more than 12 years now, and I’m proud to call it my primary home after receiving permanent residency.
My professional life revolves around technology and software, but I’m not just a passive observer. I’m an obsessive tinkerer at heart, always eager to dive into the nitty-gritty aspects of subjects that interest me. This hands-on approach extends to my entrepreneurial aspirations, which I fulfill by working on improvement projects, automation challenges, and contributing and helping fellow entrepreneurs, most of which I try to share on my blog.
When I’m not immersed in technology, I’m an avid reader. Books and blogs are my constant companions, helping me stay updated with the latest developments and expand my knowledge. Of course, I also make sure to balance this with quality time spent with my family.
One of my longstanding interests has been analyzing businesses and their operating and revenue models across various industries. This natural inclination perhaps explains why I’ve been drawn to investing in public capital markets for the past 8-10 years. I particularly follow and study the Indian and US markets. This interest has also piqued my curiosity in areas such as startups, angel investing, venture capital, and private equity.
